The Tuscany ProShield is Vango’s biggest awning, offering as much space as possible is one thing it has down to a tee and this is because it has a 325cm depth in a bay window style. Two sizes are available in the model, the most popular size is 400 as it will fit most caravans whereas the larger 500 is more to fit twin axle caravans. The modern styling is not only easy on the eye but is practical as well. A canopy hangs over the front door to make sure you can enter the awning without the rain joining you. The Tuscany features Vango’s revolutionary S.I Pro single inflation point technology, making it easy to pitch the awning with the manual pump which is supplied (or an electric pump which can be purchased separately). Along with the single inflation point there are deflation points at the bottom of every beam to make sure packing the awning away is simple. Vango have cleverly split the awning up into two bags to make everything a lot more manageable and because the panels are already removed there is less weight when you come to slide it into the rail.

Vango always give you a lot for your money and this is very much the case when you check out what comes with the awning as standard. These are things such as the draught skirt, wheel arch cover, manual pump, storm straps, roof lining, DSS (Draught Seal System) and rock pegs. It is clear that Vango have really thought about every aspect of the awning as it is the fine details that count. Small touches such as oversized zips, easy to handle zip runners and buckle clips make the awning easy to use day to day. Optional annexes can also be put onto either side of the awning to sleep extra guests or use as extra storage. Enjoy all-round views day or night with the large Diamond Clear Windows, or adjust the fully zipped curtains for more privacy. As standard the awning has a built-in roof lining which helps to reduce condensation while giving a more homely feel; this is not a feature you see from any other awning brands.

The side panels on the awning are set out in a 70/30 style so the window allows plenty of light in the awning while still giving an access point, and the panels can be switched with one another to allow you to move the door forward. The Elements ProShield material is a very waterproof 300D fabric which also has Vango’s ColourLok technology built in, this helps aid colour retention so the awing looks sharper for longer.
